Pallet Network Planner - 15th Sept Closing Date For Applications

Working within our busy transport team on our early shift to effectively plan pallet network deliveries. To liaise with, and provide our customers with a first class service through adherence to regulations and processes.

General Duties:

  • To plan routes and deliveries in a cost effective and efficient way
  • To ensure the customer receives a first class service in all communication
  • Ensuring drivers have correct paperwork for deliveries & are aware of any customer requirements
  • To demonstrate a keen eye whilst working under pressure
  • De-brief all drivers ensuring we keep a tight control on all aspects of the paperwork
  • Liaise with customers in a professional manner
  • Proactive communication with delivery partners and customers
  • Inputting work into the pallet network system
  • Monitoring deliveries through the network
  • Arranging third party collections
  • Maintain a safe working environment by ensuring you comply with statutory law, company policy & health & safety guidelines
  • Assist in the adherence to Drivers Hours Regulations in accordance with the working time directive
  • Work within a team of planners, administration staff & drivers, checking time sheets, licenses & qualifications are up to date
  • Assisting with the daily vehicle log, digital downloads, vehicle accidents, repairs, servicing, cleanliness & maintenance of fleet, ensuring all records are fully up to date & any relevant action is taken
  • Ensuring quotes, jobs & costings are entered correctly & in a timely manner onto the traffic management system
  • Completion of KPI and budget reports

Hours & Remuneration:

Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
This is a full time position with an immediate start if required.
6am to 4pm Monday to Friday


Logistics Team Leader – Warehouse - 15th Sept Closing Date For Applications

Working within the LTS warehouse to actively control stock and its movement through the warehouse process, ensuring accuracy at all times.

Skills & Attributes:

  • Minimum of 2 years working within a logistics warehouse environment
  • Can undertake all warehouse activities to a high standard
  • Strong Health & Safety Awareness
  • MHE Licenses in particular Counter Balance, and Reach
  • Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and written
  • Team Player
  • Professional, Proactive, Conscientious and Dedicated
  • A “Can Do” Attitude
  • Flexible approach to tasks undertaken
  • Takes instruction well
  • IT Skills, preferably WMS and scanning systems
  • Accurate with a high level of attention to detail
  • Excellent time management
  • Good planning & organisational skills
  • Ability to stand in for Logistics Supervisor when required

General Duties:

  • Ensure deliveries are unloaded within given time scales and checked against purchase orders, delivery notes or picking list, reporting any errors to the parties concerned
  • Providing stock for rework to logistics operatives
  • Organise and process customer orders, including to customer specific requirements and ensure timely despatch of stock
  • Check orders after picking for accuracy advising warehouse staff of any errors in order to minimise future discrepancies
  • Ensure all pallets are labelled prior to loading
  • Ensure paperwork is correctly completed
  • Ensure accuracy when loading vehicles, maintaining safe load standards
  • Ensure specific customer order requirements are met and checked prior to despatch
  • Load and unload vehicles in a safe manner using manual handling or fork lift equipment
  • Responsible for ensuring customers boxes are returned in a clean and reusable condition
  • Operating wrap machine, baler and electronic pallet truck
  • Remove waste and packaging to correct area for recycling
  • Responsible for key account warehouse requirements
  • Maintain packaging supplies to ensure there is sufficient packaging and highlight shortages or reordering required
  • Assist with picking, packing, goods in and goods out processing when required
  • Updating and maintaining system accuracy for all stock
  • Ensure warehouse projects are completed and meet the required standards
  • Demonstrate a keen eye whilst working under pressure
  • Maintain a safe working environment by ensuring you comply with statutory law, company policy & health & safety guidelines
  • Liaising with internal departments to ensure customer requirements are met
  • Ensure the team are working safely to ultimately achieve customer requirements
  • Oversee and ensure completion of general daily duties

Hours:

Monday to Friday 45 hours per week.
Some weekend work maybe required. Requirement to be available for stock checks throughout the year.

  • Ensure stock is made available for picking and packing of schedule
  • Pick and pack customer orders to customer specific requirements
  • Decant stock and repackage
  • Stack order to customer specification
  • Achieve targets for picking and packing
  • Ensure specific customer order requirements are met and checked prior to despatch
  • Ensure all pallets are correctly labelled
  • Ensure correct paperwork is sent with goods
  • Updating and maintaining system accuracy for all stock
  • Ensure warehouse projects are completed and meet the required standards
  • Demonstrate a keen eye whilst working under pressure

  • Recycling of waste as per procedure
  • Operation of electronic pallet truck to move products
  • Liaising with internal departments to ensure customer requirements are met
  • To carry out any other duties deemed necessary by the management

45 hours per week Monday to Friday
