Internal Sales Executive - Closing date for applications May 26th

Candidate Profile:
A hard working, confident and enthusiastic candidate is required for this role who has proven experience of working in a telesales environment and is able to communicate effectively over the telephone with a personable approach.

Main purpose of the role:
Responsible for achieving and exceeding financial, appointment and outbound telesales covering all services offered by the company, targets as dictated by the line Manager and for maintaining and developing client base.

Job Role defined in detail

  • Making telesales calls (outbound) to potential clients, introducing the company, profiling and qualifying the prospect by way of using your knowledge of company’s portfolio of services offered. Gaining verified information and contacts names, qualifying the businesses potential use of transport services, recording the findings in the CRM systemv
  • Sourcing sales leads using the Company’s in-house database or other sources of information
  • Calling potential customers with a mind to converting them into customers towards you own financial target (based on Gross Profit TBC) Preparation of quotations for presentation to the customer
  • Converting prospective clients to live, trading clients
  • Development of the business from existing or new customer base in order to achieve the GP target required of the individual
  • Managing all facets of the accounts for which you are responsible, ensuring that credit limits are managed in line with Company standards, internal communication with all operational departments allows those departments to perform their roles correctly and in order to ensure delivery of our promises made to the customer
  • Working within the LTS framework at all times to ensure continuous development
  • Making regular contact with customers pro-actively to ensure that we are satisfying the needs of the customer and with a mind to developing further business opportunities from within that account
  • Any other duty as required by your manager, from time-to-time

Essential Skills, experience:

  • Previous Telesales experience essential
  • Outbound B2B Sales calls v Appointment making
  • Commercial experience on UK Transport/Ocean/Air/Road freight/quoting processes will be ideal
  • Good inter-personal skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to demonstrate analytical and logical thinking

Hours & Remuneration:

Salary + Incentive Package – TBA .
Annual Holiday – 20 Days + Bank Holidays.
Working Hours – 0900 – 1800 Hours (Monday to Friday)


Customer Service Administrator - Closing date for applications May 18th

Job Purpose:
Working within a team to provide administrative & customer service support to both internal & external customers.

General Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a safe working environment by ensuring you comply with statutory law, company policy & health & safety guidelines
  • Maintain & achieve agreed customer service levels, providing feedback to sales functions & your line manager where required
  • Dealing with customers via telephone & email to book deliveries & keeping them up to date with progress
  • Dealing with queries from customers, rectifying & keeping both the customer & management team fully up to date on progress
  • Data input of incoming jobs
  • Assisting the accounts Dept with data input for invoicing when required
  • Liaising with accounts & transport to rectify any disputed invoices
  • Spot quotations via telephone & email. Ensuring quotes, jobs & costings are entered correctly & in a timely manner onto the system
  • Creating customer KPI reports, feedback & suggesting changes where required
  • Involvement in projects as required for continual improvement leading to increased profitability
  • Ensuring drivers have correct paperwork for deliveries & are aware of any customer requirements
  • Collating of POD’s checking, filing & sending to customers if required
  • Preparing warehouse pick lists & keeping stock files updated

Hours & Remuneration:

Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
This is a full time position Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm.


Transport Planner

Job Purpose:
Working within our busy transport team to liaise with, and provide our customers with a first class service through effective planning of routes, pallet network deliveries and adherence to regulations and processes.

General Responsibilities:

  • To ensure the customer receives a first class service in all communication
  • To demonstrate a keen eye whilst working under pressure
  • De-brief all drivers ensuring we keep a tight control on all aspects of the paperwork
  • Liaise with customers in a professional manner
  • To plan routes and deliveries in a cost effective way
  • Proactive communication with delivery partners and customers
  • Inputting work into the pallet network system
  • Monitoring deliveries through the network
  • Arranging third party collections
  • Maintain a safe working environment by ensuring you comply with statutory law, company policy & health & safety guidelines
  • Assist in the adherence to Drivers Hours Regulations in accordance with the working time directive
  • Work within a team of planners, administration staff & drivers, checking time sheets, licenses & qualifications are up to date
  • Assisting with the daily vehicle log, digital downloads, vehicle accidents, repairs, servicing, cleanliness & maintenance of fleet, ensuring all records are fully up to date & any relevant action is taken
  • Ensuring quotes, jobs & costings are entered correctly & in a timely manner onto the traffic management system
  • Ensuring drivers have correct paperwork for deliveries & are aware of any customer requirements

Hours & Remuneration:

Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
This is a full time position Monday to Friday.
Our transport office runs from 6am to 8pm and hours are worked on a rota basis.


HGV Class 1 Drivers

Due to continued growth we are looking to recruit HGV Class 1 Drivers.

Requirements

  • Clean Licence - up to 6 points for speeding accepted
